Brandenburg Gate



The Brandenburg Gate (German: Brandenburg Tor) is a former city gate and one of the major symbols of Berlin and Germany. It is positioned west of the city center at the junction of Unter den Linden and Ebertstraße, right away west of the Pariser Platz. It is the only outstanding gate of a series through which one previously entered Berlin. One block to the north stands the Reichstag building. The gate is the monumental entry to Unter den Linden, the renowned boulevard of linden trees which formerly led directly to the city palace of the Prussian monarchs. It was made to order by King Frederick William II of Prussia as a sign of peace and built by Carl Gotthard Langhans from 1788 to 1791. The Brandenburg Gate was restoring from 2000 to 2002 by the Stiftung Denkmalschutz Berlin (Berlin Monument Conservation Foundation). these days, it is considered one of Europe's most well-known landmarks.

Pont du gard




The most excellent time to visit one of France most well-liked tourist spots must be in February. Being almost alone, taking time to study the place and the information of this fascinating 2.000 year old structure - or the 1.000 year old Olive tree - a small attraction by itself..

Pont du Gard, Roman aqueduct across the Gard River, Gard dept., S France. Built in 19 B.C. to supply Nîmes with water, it consists of three tiers of arches and is c.900 ft (270 m) long and c.160 ft (50 m) high. This well-known construction is admired for its architectural scope. The lowest tier is now used as a road bridge.

It was constructing entirely without the use of mortar. The aqueduct stones – some of which balance to 6 tons – are held together with iron clamps. The masonry was lifted into place by block and tackle with a gigantic human-powered treadmill provide the power for the winch. A complex scaffold was erected to maintain the aqueduct as it was being built. The face of the aqueduct still bears the mark of its building, in the form of protruding scaffolding supports and ridges on the piers which supported the semicircular wooden frames on which the arches were constructed. It is understood to have taken about three years to construct, employing between 800 and 1,000 employees.

Private Spot in the Philippines.

Amanpulo is set on its own personal island, Pamalican, part of the Quiniluban group of Cuyo Island in the Philippines. Visitors arrive from Manila by charter plane which lands directly on Pamalican. More than just a beach resort, Amanpulo (calm island) is set on a coralline island all its own. Pamalican floats in the brilliant-blue waters of the Sulu Sea. Seven square kilometers of reef rim the island. Further than are sandbanks and a channel, where whales, dolphins and sea cows have been known to stray. At its widest point, the 5.5-kilometer island of Pamalican is only 500 meters across. Located among the Quiniluban group of the Cuyo Islands, Pamalican is one of nearly 1,800 islands in the province of Palawan. The largest area in the Philippines, Palawan is about 600 kilometers south and southwest of Manila. Boracay Island





Boracay Island generally known as one of the most excellent swimming destination in the world, Boracay is sacred with clean fine talcum powder-sand beaches. Philippines Tourist Spot



Samal Island offers everlasting charm with its white-sand beaches, thick mangroves, coral reefs, rolling hills and rock formations. It is an archipelago of nine islands located in the Davao Gulf about 700 meters south of Davao City. The colors of the coastline at the beach area transform itself from the green lush vegetation of coconut trees, to the white sandy beaches, to the dark sapphire color of the sea, with its deep waters and coral reefs. 

Among its popular attraction are the Aguinaldo Pearl Farm, the Cave of Talikud Island, the White Stone Mountain, and the San Jose Muslim Fishing Village.
